Dear Rotarians and friends,
The Rotary Club of Greenbelt is an organization of professional men and women most of whom either live or work in the Greenbelt area. We were founded in 1988. Rotary members come from many professions and backgrounds; we have bankers, attorneys, teachers, realtors, travel agents, physicians, accountants, auto dealers, government workers, retirees, and even a geologist among others.
Rotarians work to help those in our community as well as others nationally internationally with a wide variety of projects. Plus we have great fellowship and a lot of fun too. You will make many new friends and contacts through being a Rotarian.

Rotary is one of the world’s premier service organizations. Paul Harris had a visionary idea when he started a tiny Rotary club in Chicago in 1905. Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization. It has grown to more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide.
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Rotary Club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
Our Club, for thirty-two years, has been a fountainhead of selfless giving and serving the community, both locally and around the world. We award scholarships to students, support local nonprofits, sponsor events, etc. We have a wealth of talent, ideas, fellowship, and resources. Some of our projects are Local Student Scholarships, Feeding the Needy of Prince Georges, International Polio Plus Program, Salvation Army, Dictionary Distribution to 3rd graders, Disaster Relief nationwide, and many more.
Our meetings are on Tuesday (except the 1-st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM) mornings at 8:00 AM. Each week we host interesting guest speakers on a wide variety of topics.
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread this health concern is serious to all, therefore our Rotary meetings now have two formats: online and face-to-face.
Please find links to our Zoom meetings and the address of face-to-face meetings below. We will monitor the situation to follow and will update accordingly on our website.
